Associate Professor in the Group of Technical Electrochemistry

Research Interest:

Combination of ion exchange and electrochemical treatment in the treatment of contaminated drinking water and wastewater, use of porous electrodes in environmental processes, testing and development of low temperature electrolyzeers and fuel cells, testing and development of high temperature solid oxide cells, galvanochemistry

Membership in the Scientific organizations and other related activities:

Czech Hydrogen Technology Platform (Vice-Chairman), Czech Society of Surface Treatment (Board Member), Czech Society of Chemical Engineering (Member), Czech Chemical Society (Member), International Society of Electrochemistry (Member)

Expert Activities:

Participation in a number of national and European projects in the field of fuel cells and water electrolysis (principal investigator, principal coordinator), principal investigator of industrial research projects focused on hydrogen technologies (Bosch, Spolchemie, Orlen, Eaton,...), leadership of students at all levels of study, guarantor of the specialization Hydrogen and Membrane Technologies of the Master's degree program "Chemistry and Chemical Technologies".
