Research Interest:
The main field of interest is preparation and characterization of semiconductor photocatalysts, photoelectrochemistry, reactions at photocatalyst surfaces and environmental photocatalysis.

Expert Activities:
Development of semiconductor materials for photoelectrochemical water splitting using sunligh, fabrication of layers of various semiconductor materials (e.g. titanium dioxide, tungsten oxide, iron oxide) using various wet chemical deposition methods, study of the kinetics of oxidative degradation of organic pollutants in gaseous and liquid phase and photocatalytic inactivation of microorganisms, development of standard methods (ISO, CEN) for testing of cleaning and disinfection effects of photocatalytic surfaces.
