Head of Research Group Catalytic and Membrane Processes
Research Interest:
Membrane processes with particular focus on gas separation (development of membrane materials, process design). Mathematical modelling of chemical and catalytic processes.

Expert Activities:
Development of membranes for gas separation (especially mixed matrix membranes based on polyimides and MOF fillers for CO2 separation), design of separation units. Development of mathematical models of membrane separators, catalytic reactors and chemical technologies using FORTRAN, Visual basic and universal simulation programs such as Aspen Plus. Preparation and characterization of catalysts for processes related to methane aromatization, CO2 methanation, etc. Participation in projects funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Czech Republic, TA CR, GA CR and EU, including Erasmus Mundus educational projects. Supervision of students at all levels of study.
