Associate professor in the group of Catalytic and Membrane Processes
Basic and applied research in inorganic technology with emphasis on catalytic processes, study of solid surfaces (especially heterogeneous catalysts) by adsorption, preparation and characterization of catalysts and sorbents for various applications.
International Adsorption Society (member), International Association for the Study of Clays (member), Czech Chemical Society (member), Czech Society of Chemical Engineering (member), Czech Society for Research and Use of Clays (member).
Design and modification of chemical technologies, cooperation with industry, participation in a number of projects of various providers in the field of solid surface characterization, leadership of students at all levels of study.
The main focus is on chemical technologies from basic production (sulfuric acid, nitric acid) to specialties (explosives, fertilizers, hydrogen cyanide).
